Marcia Araque obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colombia, Bogota, in 2007. She then entered an international Ph.D. program, receiving her degree from the University of Strasbourg and the National University of Colombia in 2011. Her Ph.D. subject “Hydrogen production by glycerol steam reforming”. She is currently an assistant professor at Centrale Lille and member of the UCCS laboratory. Her research focuses on the alternative separation technologies for the separation/purification of mixtures coming from biomass valorization.
